The 2025 BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) opens in Dublin, featuring 550 projects from 225 schools across Ireland. Organisers are prepared for potential weather-related challenges, offering students additional time to arrive and considering remote presentations if necessary. A panel of 85 experts will select over 200 prize winners, including the overall champion who will represent Ireland at the European Union Contest for Young Scientists. President Michael D. Higgins will officially open the event, marking its 61st anniversary and BT Ireland’s 25th year as main sponsor.
