25,000 Names Removed from Newly Opened War Archive in the Netherlands

The National Archive of the Netherlands has confirmed that 25,000 names have been removed from the newly opened war archive due to the absence of corresponding files. These names, which included victims and witnesses from cases involving collaboration and war crimes, were mistakenly included. The archive aims to prevent confusion among relatives and will add names if relevant files are discovered in the future. Currently, two-thirds of the archive remains to be digitized.
