The 27th International Film Festival of Olympia for Children and Youth has commenced, running until December 7. It features a special tribute titled ‘Nature and Society: Western Greece in Transition’, focusing on environmental protection and social cohesion. Festival director Pantelis Panteloglou discussed the aim of the festival to attract visitors and create a hub of interest in cinema and audiovisual education, especially for children. The event also includes a European meeting of audiovisual creation showcasing films made by children and youth.
