Preparations for the 2nd Student Mathematics Conference, titled ‘Mathematical Challenges in the 21st Century’, have begun following the success of the inaugural event. Scheduled for March 15-16, 2025, the conference, organized by Dr. Athanasia Balomenou and the Hellenic Mathematical Society, aims to engage about 1,200 students and 250 teachers from 70 secondary schools in West Greece. It will encourage exploration of the connection between mathematics and everyday life, fostering critical thinking and 21st-century skills among participants.
