A 72-year-old Peruvian man was apprehended in Thessaloniki for allegedly stealing wallets from passengers on buses and at bus stops. Police reported that he stole a wallet containing 110 euros and ten bank cards from an 18-year-old woman. Between November 19 and December 8, 2024, he reportedly stole wallets from four passengers, accumulating 168 euros and several bank cards, which he used for unauthorized transactions and attempts at ATM withdrawals.
