Ryland Headley, aged 92, is set to go on trial in June 2024 for the 1967 rape and murder of Louisa Dunne, who was 75 when she was found strangled in her home in Bristol. The trial will follow a recent forensic examination that led to new charges against Headley, who appeared via video link at Bristol Magistrates’ Court. The proceedings are expected to last up to three weeks.
