In a letter addressed to Minister Theodoros Skylakakis, Kannis emphasized the importance of the academy, which has been in the city for over 50 years, and voiced concerns over a potential covert transfer. He highlighted the lack of higher education facilities in the region and called for unity to prevent further developmental setbacks.
