Belgian Former Presenter Sven Pichal Faces 37 Months in Prison for Child Pornography Charges
The Belgian Public Prosecutor has demanded a 37-month prison sentence for Sven Pichal, a former VRT radio presenter, for possession and distribution of child pornography. Pichal, who was arrested last August, confessed to his guilt during the court proceedings in Antwerp. The case involved the exchange of child abuse images via chat apps. Pichal also faces charges related to drug possession and distribution, but will not be prosecuted unless he commits further offenses. A verdict is expected on December 16.
