On Sunday afternoon, an attempted burglary occurred at the residence of an American diplomat in Philothei, Greece. Unknown intruders attempted to enter the two-story home by climbing to the first-floor balcony and breaking in through a bathroom window. The diplomat’s wife noticed one of the intruders and raised an alarm, causing the burglar to flee without taking anything. The 59-year-old diplomat resides there with his wife, a Puerto Rican passport holder. Police are investigating the incident, having collected fingerprints and DNA evidence from the scene.
