Georges Ilenikhena, an 18-year-old AS Monaco footballer, was attacked in Corbeil-Essonnes by four armed individuals demanding luxury items. After leaving a birthday party with a friend, they were approached by the assailants who threatened them with knives and a handgun. Although Ilenikhena’s friend managed to escape and return with help, the robbers fled after colliding with a wall while trying to steal Ilenikhena’s car. The player has since filed a complaint with local authorities.
