In an effort to solve the cold case of murdered Hungarian sex worker Bernadette ‘Betty’ Szabó, a hologram was displayed in Amsterdam’s Wallengebied. This innovative approach has resulted in dozens of tips for authorities, although the crucial lead worth €30,000 has yet to emerge. Szabó was brutally killed in 2009, and the display sparked global interest, reaching audiences far beyond the Netherlands. Although the hologram’s exhibition has concluded, police intend to continue the investigation and seek further information from the public.
