The United States has stated that no country should host leaders of Hamas, following reports that some of the group’s leadership left Doha for Turkey. Matthew Miller, a spokesperson for the State Department, emphasized that terrorists should not be allowed to reside comfortably, especially in a NATO member country, and urged their surrender to U.S. authorities due to pending charges against them.
