Tropical Storm Sara Causes Flooding and Fatalities in Central America
Tropical Storm Sara has wreaked havoc in Honduras and Nicaragua, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including a 3-year-old boy swept away by floodwaters. In Honduras, approximately 200 homes were completely destroyed and more than 120,000 people were affected. The storm has also impacted Nicaragua, where 1,800 homes flooded, and six fatalities were reported in Costa Rica due to heavy rains and landslides. Authorities are assessing the damage as the storm weakens and moves southwest.
