Tragic Canyoning Accident Claims Life of 28-Year-Old in Switzerland

A 28-year-old man tragically drowned while canyoneering in Flims, Graubünden, on Friday. The incident occurred at an altitude of 2250 meters when the man became stuck in a rock crevice while rappelling. Despite the efforts of his companions to rescue him, he was pushed against the rock wall by the waterfall and submerged under water, succumbing to his injuries on-site. Local authorities, including the mountain police and public prosecutor, have initiated an investigation, while multiple rescue teams, including canyoning experts, assisted in recovering the victim.
