Swiss Rescue Dogs Sent to Valencia Flood Disaster Zone
The Swiss rescue dog organization Redog has dispatched a search dog team to the flood-affected area of Valencia, Spain. Their mission is to locate missing persons following the devastating floods that have left eleven people unaccounted for. The team includes three search dogs and specialized personnel. The deployment, initiated by local authorities, comes amidst ongoing criticism regarding the slow delivery of aid after the disaster, which claimed at least 227 lives. Protests demanding the resignation of Valencia’s president, Carlos Mazón, have already taken place.
