Fairmedia Seeks Assistance Amidst Rising Demand for Media Support Services
The Swiss non-profit Fairmedia, founded in 2015 to help individuals unfairly treated by the media, is facing financial difficulties despite an increase in demand for its services. Originally established in response to concerns over biased media practices, the organization offers free legal advice and has recently started paid subscriptions for consultations. With a call for donations, they require 30,000 Swiss francs by month’s end to continue operations. Notable figures, including politicians and writers, are involved with Fairmedia, which now also addresses issues arising from social media interactions.
