Colin Petersen, Bee Gees Drummer, Passes Away at 78
Colin Petersen, the first drummer for the Bee Gees, has died at the age of 78. He joined the Gibb brothers in the 1960s and contributed to many of their hits, including ‘I Started A Joke’ and ‘To Love Somebody.’ Petersen had been performing with a tribute band in recent years. His passing is a shock to the music community, coming shortly after the death of fellow drummer Dennis Byron.
