The Municipality of Thermaikos has submitted its candidacy to become the ‘National Youth Capital 2025’ in collaboration with its Young Council. This initiative aims to foster innovation, political engagement, and creative participation among youth. The program encourages active involvement of those aged 15 to 29 in society and aims to strengthen ties between the youth and the local community. The evaluation process involves 18 municipalities, with a decision expected by year’s end, supported by a grant of up to €80,000 for approved initiatives.
