Recent measurements reveal that Mount Scenery on Saba, the highest point in the Netherlands, stands at 870 meters, lower than the previously reported heights of 877 and 887 meters. Geodet Jochem Lesparre conducted the measurements in 2019, resolving ongoing confusion about the mountain’s height, which has varied in various sources including Wikipedia. Despite the new height, Mount Scenery remains the tallest peak in the Netherlands, surpassing The Quill on Sint-Eustatius at approximately 601 meters.
