A new unified tax call center in Greece is set to begin operations by the end of Q1 2025, aiming to enhance taxpayer services and reduce tax evasion. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, alongside key officials such as Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, highlighted advances in digital tools and reforms that have significantly improved tax administration, resulting in a considerable increase in VAT revenue. Future digital innovations include a complete overhaul of tax declaration systems and further integration of electronic invoicing.
