The second cycle of the ‘Our Home, the Forest: Evros 2024-2025’ program, implemented by the Hatzigakis Foundation, is set to conclude with a tree planting event in Lefkimi, Soufli. Scheduled for November 22, this initiative involves students, teachers, and volunteers who will plant 220 climate-appropriate saplings. The program aims to enhance environmental awareness and connect students with critical issues like climate change and natural disasters, as highlighted by the Foundation’s General Secretary, Elizabet Hatzigakis.
