A seven-month-old baby, Elle Doherty, died from severe injuries sustained during a sudden attack by her family’s Belgian Malinois dog, Zeus. The incident occurred at their home in Coundon on June 16, leading to skull fractures and a cardiac arrest shortly after. The coroner described the attack as lasting less than a second, and highlighted the parents’ immediate response to remove the dog and their child from the situation.
