Greece’s Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou announced the introduction of digital tools aimed at supporting cancer patients, scheduled for implementation in March 2025. The tools will provide services such as treatment reminders, self-reporting options for symptoms, and improved communication with healthcare providers. Additionally, the National Cancer Disease Registry will be operational by December 2024 to monitor epidemiological indicators. This initiative, funded by the European Recovery and Resilience Facility, aims to enhance patient care and quality of life.
