Extension of N.A.T. Mandate on Seafarers’ Pensions Announced by Deputy Minister Panagiotis Tsakloglou
The Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Panagiotis Tsakloglou, has announced a two-year extension until December 31, 2026, for the N.A.T. to manage pension and severance pay provisions for seafarers. This decision acknowledges significant progress in processing pensions and reducing delays, ensuring smoother operations and a commitment to modernizing services. Alongside, the historical role of the N.A.T. in supporting Greek seafarers is emphasized, as well as ongoing digital transformations to better serve beneficiaries.
