Thessaloniki’s public transport will receive 15 new buses on January 1, 2025, as part of a deal to renew the fleet of the Organization of Urban Transportation of Thessaloniki (OASTH). The acquisition of a total of 41 buses is aimed at modernizing the aging fleet, with the new additions expected to increase the number of new vehicles to 151, representing 50% of OASTH’s fleet. Government officials emphasize the importance of improving public transport services for citizens.
