Restoration of Historic Train Station in Sindos Completed

The historic Old Railway Station in Sindos has been restored to legality following a coordinated effort by the Delta Municipality and the Hellenic Police. Occupants were removed, extensive cleaning was conducted to eliminate waste, and the building was sealed to prevent future occupation. Constructed in 1894, the station has historical significance as the headquarters of General Konstantinos during the Balkan Wars. The local administration aims to upgrade the surrounding area and restore the building into a museum, enhancing community safety and quality of life.
