Following the success of the first festival, the 2nd Serres International Poetry Festival will take place from November 22-24, 2024. Organized by the Serres Philologists Association, the festival titled ‘On a Foreign Verse’ will feature 33 renowned poets, including esteemed Greek poet Yiannis Ritsos. Attendees will engage in poetic discussions at the Municipal Theater ‘Asteria’, with student participants responding creatively to the guest poets. Other notable participants include Swedish Academy member Gila Mosaent and Cuban poet Victor Rodríguez Núñez.
