The University of Macedonia is launching a Chair for Teaching and Research in Minor Asian Studies within its Balkan, Slavic, and Eastern Studies Department. This initiative, driven by a collaboration agreement between PAMEK and major private enterprises, aims to preserve the history of the Greek presence in Ionia. The project was first proposed by Mimi Denisi and will be funded by SEVE members. The chair is expected to start its operations in the academic year 2025-2026.
