A major fire at a central refugee accommodation in Vogelsang, North Rhine-Westphalia injured 20 people and severely damaged the building. The fire broke out in an area housing 18 residents, prompting a large emergency response that included reinforcements due to difficult water supply conditions. Ten injured individuals were taken to hospitals, while others were treated on-site. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the police.
