Swiss Municipalities Vote on Asylum Support and Urban Development Plans

In recent votes, municipalities in Switzerland addressed key local issues. Dänikon and Hüttikon approved a contract with Regensdorf to support asylum seekers, with over 85% and 88% approval respectively. In contrast, Kloten’s residents rejected a new urban development plan aimed at density increase, with 52% opposing it. Additionally, Uster voters declined a proposal to transfer the districts of Nänikon and Werrikon to Greifensee, with over 65% opposing the initiative.
