Lacie and Betsy, both diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia within three weeks of each other, have formed a deep friendship that has provided support during their cancer treatment. The girls, living in Bridgend, Wales, met in April 2023 after their diagnoses and have since shared hospital experiences, chemotherapy, and recovery milestones. Their families have also grown close as they navigate the challenges together, highlighting the importance of support systems in difficult times.
