A rescue operation is currently in progress for five young hikers aged 21 to 26 who began a weekend trek on Psiloritis Mountain in Greece without appropriate climbing gear. They sought refuge in a chapel due to severe weather conditions, including strong winds and frost. Rescue teams from the Heraklion EMAK are en route to assist the hikers in descending safely.
