Parents and residents of Sfakia are set to hold a protest on December 4 outside the local Health Center after its classification was changed from ‘AGONO A’ to ‘AGONO B.’ The issue has escalated to parliamentary discussions, following inquiries from MP Pavlos Polakis. Chania Mayor Yiannis Zervos criticized the decision, warning that it could drive doctors away from the area, jeopardizing public health services established during Polakis’s tenure.
