Tourists Rescued After Getting Stranded in Snowstorm in Greece
A group of nine tourists faced a challenging night as they attempted to cross the forest roads of Valia Kalda during a snowstorm. Starting their journey from Milia to Vovousa, they were forced to turn back due to heavy snowfall. In the region of Salatoora, mud and slippery roads immobilized their vehicles. At around 10 PM, the tourists called emergency services for help. Fire Brigade, EMAK, and EMOD teams were promptly deployed to locate and ensure the safety of the stranded tourists.
