The Rotary Clubs of Komotini and Rodopi have donated a drone to the region of Eastern Macedonia – Thrace for fire prevention. The drone was received by Regional Governor Christodoulos Topidis, who emphasized its importance in the region’s disaster management strategies. For the first time, the region will utilize three advanced drone systems in the summer of 2024 to enhance the prevention and response to wildfires, highlighting the administration’s commitment to protecting lives, property, and the environment.
