Australian police have made their largest cocaine seizure in history, confiscating 2.3 tonnes of cocaine valued at approximately A$760 million ($490 million) from a stranded boat off Queensland’s coast. Eleven men and two juveniles were arrested in connection with the operation, including a reputed vice-president of the Comanchero motorcycle gang. The seizure is part of a broader investigation into criminal activities linked to the gang, named Operation Tyrrendor.
