A 25-year-old man from Nepal has been released without conditions by the Athens Council of Misdemeanors regarding the infanticide case involving a baby found dead in a trash bin in Brauron last March. Contrary to earlier beliefs, DNA results revealed the child was not his. His claims of ignorance about the contents of the bag in which the baby was discovered were deemed credible. Meanwhile, the baby’s mother remains in prison as the case develops.
