The UK’s National Health Service (NHS) announced the approval of tebentafusp, a new treatment for hundreds of individuals diagnosed with uveal melanoma, a rare and often deadly form of cancer. Recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the drug, marketed as Kimmtrak, is for patients whose cancer cannot be surgically removed or has spread to other organs.
