The Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis, has unveiled upcoming governmental initiatives aimed at the banking system. These initiatives, set to be announced soon, are intended to address the needs of citizens, the economy, society, and businesses while ensuring the stability of the Greek banking sector. Additionally, by 2025, the IRIS system is expected to expand to all businesses, coinciding with the implementation of a new European regulation that standardizes fees for bank transactions using direct payment systems.
