A 58-year-old man, who succumbed to a cerebral hemorrhage while hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of Papageorgiou Hospital, has donated his organs. His kidneys were transferred to a transplant center in Athens, while his liver was successfully transplanted at the Hippokration Hospital in Thessaloniki. The corneas are set to be transplanted at AHEPA Hospital. The hospital expressed condolences and gratitude to the family for their generous decision during a difficult time.
