The city of Kozani will celebrate its patron saint, Saint Nicholas, on December 6, 2024. A significant ecclesiastical event will take place on December 5 at 5:30 PM at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, led by Metropolitan Panteleimon of Maronia and Komotini. This will be followed by a vigil, and on December 6, a grand morning service and a multi-bishop Divine Liturgy will commence at 7:00 AM, also led by Metropolitan Panteleimon. The day will conclude with a public procession of the icon of Saint Nicholas at 10:30 AM.
