Greece’s Minister of Development, Takis Theodorikakos, announced a four-month extension of price control measures, lasting until April 2025. During a parliamentary committee discussion, he indicated that current measures have led to a significant reduction in food inflation, with rates dropping from 10.4% last year to 0.8% this November. The minister stressed the importance of maintaining healthy competition and improving citizens’ disposable income.
