A tragic police chase on the Athens-Lamia national road led to the death of a 30-year-old Roma man. The chase began after police attempted to stop him following a report of threats made by his mother. Despite efforts to evade capture, he drove against traffic for several kilometers, ultimately colliding with a truck. He was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
