MMA star Conor McGregor has been ordered by a judge to pay the legal costs of Nikita Hand, who accused him of rape. Following a jury’s finding of liability in a civil case, McGregor must pay nearly €250,000 in damages to Hand and now must cover her legal expenses as well. Despite McGregor’s denial of the allegations and intention to appeal, the judge described the situation as a ‘singular and peculiar case.’ Meanwhile, James Lawrence, a co-defendant, was found not liable and will not receive costs.
