Greece will introduce a ‘Christmas Basket’ program starting December 11, featuring a variety of traditional holiday foods including lamb, goat, turkey, and sweets. The initiative aims to provide consumers with competitive pricing during the Christmas season. Additionally, a ‘Saint Nicholas Basket’ with 13 categories of toys will launch on December 18. The government plans to extend existing price-reduction measures until April to help manage inflation in the grocery sectors.
