Increase in FMCG Sales in Greece for January-October 2024

The turnover of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs) in Greece reached €9.957 billion from January to October 2024, marking a 3.5% increase from the same period last year. Private label products continued to gain ground, capturing a market share of 26.7%. Promotions in supermarkets significantly boosted sales, particularly in the food and household care categories. Moreover, various segments like packaged foods and non-alcoholic beverages demonstrated notable sales growth. Smaller stores also saw an increase in turnover, indicating changing consumer preferences.
