Police Chief Suspended Following Sexual Harassment Allegations in Thessaloniki
A police chief in Thessaloniki has been suspended after being arrested on charges of sexual harassment made by a staff member of his department. The complaint, filed by the woman’s husband, alleges that the officer exhibited a sexual device and a butterfly knife. The chief has been referred to trial at the Single-Member Court of Misdemeanors in Thessaloniki, but the hearing was postponed and he has since been released.
