The French Socialist Party (PS) is ready to engage in discussions with the presidential camp and the right-wing for forming a new government following the fall of Michel Barnier’s administration. Olivier Faure, the First Secretary of the PS, clarified that the new government would be on a ‘fixed-term contract’ during a radio interview ahead of his meeting at the Élysée Palace.
