Beginning in March 2024, the price of blue electricity tariffs in Greece is set to be lower than that of green tariffs, according to energy inspector Thanasis Totikidis. He highlighted current promotional rates that can be locked in at 0.95 and 0.90 euros per kilowatt-hour for blue tariffs, compared to the green tariffs’ rates of 0.40 and 0.36 euros. This shift, alongside other market trends and geopolitical factors, indicates a growing consumer preference for blue tariffs.
