A new cooperation agreement signed between the Municipality of Central Corfu and the Ionian Islands Region aims to promote Corfu’s Old Town as a UNESCO Heritage Site. The initiative is part of the HERITAGE LINKS project under the INTERREG Greece-Italy 2021-2027 program. The project includes establishing an official management office in a renovated building, with funding allocated for necessary equipment. The budget for these enhancements is estimated at €171,595, ensuring the site’s historical significance is preserved and promoted.
